The RNIP (Rural Northern Immigration Pilot) is a Canadian immigration program designed based on the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) as a pilot program for immigration in Canada, aimed at providing opportunities for:
International students
Foreign skilled workers who are permanent residents are eligible for Canadian citizenship

- West Kootenay (Trail, Castlegar, Rossland, Nelson), British Columbia
On January 24th, 2019, the Canadian government officially announced the RNIP pilot program to support communities in rural and northern areas to strengthen their economic, social, and demographic development.
